About ADC Bowls Club

Our Season

Our season commences in September and generally runs until April. Our bowls season consists of the following weekly events:

Monday PM Social Bowls starts at 1.30pm cost $5
Tuesday AM/PM Ladies Interclub
Wednesday AM Ladies roll up
Wednesday PM Men’s Pennants
Saturday PM Men’s Pennants
ADC and Roxburgh playing bowls

ADC Bowls have increased their member numbers in the past couple of years, attracting additional social and full members.

With the additional members, our Wednesday Pennants teams consist of 6 for the 2024/25 season.

Our Men’s Saturday Pennants saw the introduction of a Premier team alongside Division 1 and 2. We were extremely pleased to be able to enter 7 teams in all, a further increase of 2 teams from 2023. We will continue to enter 7 teams with 1 team in the Premier League, 2 in Division 1 and 4 in Division 2. We continue to be represented by more teams than any other club in Central Otago & Lakes District.

We hold several tournaments throughout the season, which are sponsored by local companies. We also hold a Charity Tournament every February, sponsored by Alexandra Family Medical & the ADC, where money raised is for a local cause, generally related to health, and is always well supported by local companies.

We are pleased to support the Central Otago team with players in the Main and Development squads.
